XXXII NATIONS CUP IN AACHEN
Polish pure-bred Arabian horses constantly prove that they are unequalled. Both the Nations’ Cup as well as the Breeders’ Cup fell into Polish hands! This was the eighth time in history that Poland won the Nation’s Cup, Lady Harmsworth’s Trophy, and the fifth time we took the Breeder’s Cup, that is Major Hedley’s Trophy. The Dąbrowski Mazurka was indeed a delight to our ears…
The XXXII Nations’ Cup in Aachen took place on 27 – 28 September, the organizer of this prestigious event being the German Arabian Breeder’s Union. Our representatives left Poland on Tuesday. The group included horses from SK Michałów, SK Janów Podlaski, Falborek Arabians Stud of Mr and Mrs Goździalski and Chrcynno-Pałac of Mr and Mrs Poszepczyński, Best Arabians of Mr W. Parczewski and Mr and Mrs M. J. Pietrzak.
6 judges were chosen for each class out of a Ground Jury of 10, composed of Julie Bridges – United Kingdom, Deborah Cain – USA, Silvia Garde-Ehlert – Germany, Marie-Louise van Wyk – RSA, Nashaat Hegazy – Egypt, Luiz Eduardo Moreira Caio – Brazil, Cristian Moschini – Italy, Marco Pittaluga – Italy, Peter Pond – Australia and Tamás Rombauer – Hungary.

Just behind her, in third position, was Pustynia Kahila from Michałów. The first place was awarded to Aj Sawari (Marwan Al Shaqab - Siberia SA / Nuzyr HCF ) from the Ajman Stud.
