EQUESTRIAN ENDURANCE RIDING – THE UNFAILING ARABIANS
During the Equestrian Endurance Ride which took place on 2 – 3 September in Malichów in the Opole region pure-bred Arabians proved that they are not only porcelain figures but flesh and blood, and of the best variety!
The Dolina Gawora Stables run by Mr Marek Tul was the organizer of this year’s Polish Seniors Championship, Polish Juniors Championship and an International Endurance Competition (CEI 2*), as well as a National and Non-affiliated competition. The event met with considerable interest as the number of entered combinations was over 70!
Arabian horses clearly proved to be infallible. The highest podium and title of Senior Polish Champion over a distance of 120 km was awarded to Agata Murawska and Miles (Piaff - Metodyka/Wiek). The combination represented the riding club BIK Gieniusze. The runner up and second on the podium was Maria Landau and Mu-Ardesz (Dobryń - Mu-Ardah/Armaniak) of KJ Champion Ciosny. The competition between the two ladies was tight because the difference in their finishing times was only 1 second! The third place went to Beata Szlezyngier-Jagielska and Asłan (Ecaho - Amina/Murat-Gazon) representing KJ Leśny.
The winner of the title of Polish Juniors and Young Riders Champion over a distance of 80 km was Natalia Palczak with Dżinnis (Eton - Dominacja/Ganges) of KJ Leśny. Dolina Gawora has been the host of the event for the second successive time. The picturesque landscape and dry ground are ideally suited for events of this type.
The name of the Stables is in itself interesting. It comes from the name of the stallion Gawor (Fawor - Gloria Bis/Wachlarz) owned by Mr Marek Tul and bred by SK EWEX Arabians in Trzyciąż, who is the last descendent of the unforgettable Michałów stallion Fawor (Probat - Fatma/Anarchista).
